I just hit 4,100 words, still have about 900 to go to be on track for today.

Things have NOT tracked the way I thought they would. I incorrectly assumed my guy would be dead by now. So far all he has done is wake up, take a shower, and get dressed. He's getting ready to eat breakfast and leave for school. His death takes place on the way to school so he should bite the dust soon.

Okay, I hit the 5,000 word mark and Taylor is still eating breakfast. I did take care of some necessary exposition concerning his family so I'm cool with that.

I have now made up for not writing yesterday. I am going home now. I plan to write more tonight. Perhaps I can get a day or two ahead and stay well ahead of the pace. My first goal is to get this kid undead.

Wish me luck.

I've cracked the 7,500 word mark. Taylor is STILL eating breakfast and he is still NOT undead. The exposition has come easier than I anticipated.

Very interesting.

I feel so alone.

Good luck to whoever may be doing it this year.

Almost to the 12,000 word mark and this guy is still not dead.

He's going to get there...I hope.

Kinda hard to have an undead main character if he won't die the first time.

If I finish, I plan to do a re-write and possibly publish it to Kindle.

I can't seem to get my character to the point where he dies and that is frustrating me immensely.

So, I decided to start the next chapter where he wakes up dead and is trying to figure out what is going on. I'll go back and write the death scene later.

So... How did this go?

For me... not so good. I just couldn't get the motivation flowing. I don't think I am very good at setting aside time to write fiction, especially when I am not very good at it!

I got about half way through. November is not a good month for me to be trying this. I know there is at least one weekend and another whole week where I will not get any writing done.

I do like what I wrote though.

I think June would be a much better month for most people.
