Penny whistle

I was just blessed with a Penny Whistle(Tin whistle), and it is honestly one of the funnest instruments I have picked up. I feel as if I am a leprechaun when I play it. Anyone else have one or can play one?

I am learning the Irish washerwomen on it, fun little jig!

I have been playing one for a few years now. I love Irish Trad. In the way of wind instruments, it is possibly one of the easiest for a non-wind player to pick up and learn to play.

Find the sheet music for "Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing". You can find it on musicnotes.com, in your hymnal and other places. It is a traditional gospel tune in D major and sounds fantastic on tinwhistle.
