I live south of Houston so I listen to Houston radio stations. From what I'm hearing there's enough wild fire activity north of Houston that smoke and air quality is an issue for portions of north Houston. I heard on the news the other day that firefighters have been fighting wild fires in Texas for 297 straight days...so it's over 300 now.
It is strange to me that there all so many unrelated fires throughout Texas...
They're all related through weather and drought. Small fires break out in July and August all the time. The strong winds are what made all of them spread so fast.
