New Car!

So about 2 weeks ago I was given my bros 88 bonneville SE with 110k miles. I cleaned it up did a tuneup and put in a new sound system. all I had left to was get a new hood. Here is a pic:

So today I went to go look at an 89 bonny that some guy is parting out/ selling for $300. when I got there I saw he also has a 90 bonneville SSE with 160k miles for $600 obo. here are some pix of that:

Its black with a tan leather interior, power everything, craploads of luxury features, 8 speaker sound system, the Buick LN3 engine (rather than the old LG3 in my bonny), and it also has suspension upgrades since its a newer model and the sport model. I talked to him and he said he'd take $500 cause it needs brakes, rims/tires (which I would take off my current bonny) and the roof has a dent... he might also take $400 and some truck tires my dad has.

All that to say I'm seriously considering buying this car in the next few days...

thoughts anyone?

My thoughts: get one good reliable car however you can and call it a day.

Buy it. Then listen to '80s R&B on cassette while wearing silk shirts and drinking wine coolers.
