| Guitar trade remorse?? Does anyone get this? I just traded my ibanez Gio guitar that I haven't touched in over a year to get a jbass that I've been playing the heck out of, but I saw a pic of the ibby and I feel like I miss it even though even if I got it back I know I wouldn't touch it.... Sup with that

| I'm the same way. I sold a Gretsch Green Anniversary:
so I could buy a Trinity College octave mandolin. I never played my Green Annie, and I played the octave mandolin regularly until about 2 years ago. But I have regretted getting rid of the archtop every day since I did it.

| On a serious note....I need to sell my Washburn. It's kind of a crappy guitar, I don't really play it anymore and I could use the money to upgrade my set up in some way. But I've had it over 10 years, it's kind of what I learned on, and I'm afraid I would indeed end up having sellers remorse after I sold it. So for now, I'm just holding on to it. |

| I know I'm the sort that would get sellers regret, so I never sell my guitars.
Instead I lend my old guitars to friends for long periods of time. It means that while I don't have any current use for them myself, they are being used so I don't feel guilty about having gear I don't use. I also know that if I wanted, I could get them back, although as yet I've never made such a request. My first acoustic has been with a friend of mine for a few years now. Apparently it has been on tv during that time. |

| The only guitar I have regretted getting rid of was my Jackson Concert bass.
I hated myself for years...until I found one identical to it (same color and everything) on eBay earlier this year.
Needless to say...I won't be getting rid of this one. |
