Samford University. Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama

I graduated from there with a B.S. in math in 1984.

Outstanding Baptist university, one of the finest music programs you'll find anywhere, great ministerial programs, small classes, terrific Christian atmosphere, gorgeous campus in Homewood, AL (suburb of Birmingham). Excellent academics and U.S. News and World Report ranks Samford among the top tier of doctoral universities. Slightly less than 5,000 students, of whom about 3,000 are undergrads.

You'll be hard pressed to find better.

Check out Liberty University! Thats where im going to be going.. Its the largest Christian University in the world with undergraduate, graduate, and online opportunities. Awesome campus in Lynchburg, Virginia and compared to a lot of christian universities the tuition isn't that bad.

Christian Universities....most definately

Hello there. Yes I totally agree with you. I think there is a big need for Christian Universities in the world. I mean they have them to study stuff like Architecture, Law, Business related stuff....but a university that has subjects all Christian based...I totally agree with.

There are a plethora of Christian Universities and Bible Colleges, it really depends what you want to do and whether you're looking for a liberal arts college or whatnot. My suggestion is be more specific with what you want, and you'll be able to narrow it down. Cedarville University is where i currently go and i love it, its a liberal arts college, with several different programs.
Good luck with your college search!

Louisiana College in Pineville La. is a liberal arts school has a very good Christian Studies/Biblical Languages Program and just started a Divinity School. It is operated by the Louisiana Baptist Convention and so is nominally (though not actually) associated with the Southern Baptists. There's a mild charismatic influence on campus, though that influence is nil in the Christian Studies department. The school is very socially conservative. but at 14G/yr, it's one of the cheapest around.

There are several good Christian colleges around. It depends on a few things.

1) Do you want to stay local to home? If not, there are several great schools abroad (whether in America or overseas)

2) Are you concerned about tuition costs? If you're not, then your options are wide open. If you are, your options may slim down a bit but there are still some fantastic schools without having to spend an arm and a leg or go fathoms deep in debt.

3) Do you have any particular denominational preference? If you do, your options will slim down (and your tuition cost will probably go up). If you don't, then your options are more open (and your tuition cost will probably be a little more relaxed).

4) What do you want to study? Some colleges are more geared toward certain fields.

Here's an example: "I want to go into worship ministry. I don't want to pay a ton of money on tuition, and I don't mind moving out of state." Answer? College of the Ozarks in Missouri, or Christ for the Nations Institute in Texas would be two great choices.

Another example: "I want to go into youth ministry and I would like to avoid tuition as much as possible. I don't mind moving out of state." Answer? Central Christian College of the Bible might be a possible option....

What are you looking at going into?

re: OP
I'd recommend a university with an admissions process that does not concern itself with high standards for spelling and grammar as a prerequisite.
