NBD: 2008 Fender Precision Bass
I bought a 2008 Fender American Standard Precision Bass off of a guy that wasn't able to sell it for what he wanted on eBay. I got it for a STEAL. It's white with the tortise gaurd and rosewood neck. It came with all the case candy and tools, a new set of strings, and it's in, just about, mint condition.

I'd like to trade the SKB airline case that came with it for a tweed case but other than that it's all I've ever wanted in a bass for a price that I would have expected to pay for a new Mexican Standard.

Congrats on an American Standard. I don't think I've played the current version of the American Standard , but I've played the Highway 1s and the current American Specials and neither of them played as well as the two American Standards I've played.

Congrats! Nice color choice, and what a sweet P-Bass. Your bass reminds me of a 63 P-Bass I once owned and stupidly sold back in the 70's. Ah, my foolish youth. On another note, I think Fender has really stepped up their game with the 2008 to current American Standard series instruments. I hope you get much satisfaction and joy out of yours.
