I want to install an as-of-yet unavailable version that would basically be a stand-in for my tailpiece. While I love the concept, I think it looks big and clunky and kinda unattractive, tho they did do a good job of execution, and it does look sleek. That sleekness would serve the design of an LP, Strat, or Tele rather well, and they do, but for what I got going on, it's really crowded on my Utah. Also, it's size also has to do with housing all the fiddly bits for intonation and whatnot.
But, what would happen if they had a version that just replaced the tailpiece and maintained tension and tuning and didn't have to deal with matters of intonation? It's footprint would be a lot smaller, and, as it happens, it would fit perfectly on my Utah, and other like guitars, no doubt. (When I say "like guitars", no other guitar is "like" the Utah, per se, but rather I'm referring to guitars with interesting topographies.) Quote: |

Perhaps a RC joystick on your guitar that could redirect the stage pyrotechnics?

| I would settle for a guitar that stayed in tune so long, yes, if the creator actually takes into account the amount I play everyday.
I would pay my weight in gold for that joystick. You could literally call it, The Joystick, stick of pure joy. |

It's a bridge that counterbalances your strings with strong springs that keep it perfectly in tune for, like, two weeks at a time.
It's pricey, but from what I understand it is worth it. I've seen one up close. You literally can't make the thing go out of tune. While I do like the look of it, it would look totally clunky on my Utah, and plus I like my wooden/bone bridge, so I'm waiting for a tailpiece solution, but, if I had another kind of guitar, I would get it in a heartbeat. However, we'll be sure not to let you into the American Idol House Band. Quote: |

| Mostly I fear the adjustment of it getting it perfect once installed. I can make a template from the paper to make out of plywood and then rout it. I just fear it would take me a solid month to get it set up. Quote: |

| Would love a tunomatic/stoptail version.
