intense pain when i work out.

Since Saturday when I attempt my normal workout routine, about 1/3 the way in I begin to experience a mild, but quick, throbbing near the base of my skull on the left side. If I rest for a minute and then start up again, by the end of one cycle the pain in the same region becomes a blinding, intense pain that wraps around the entire left side of my head, and upper neck.

Pain killers do not work.

Next Friday Im going to try and see a doctor (sooner is not an option), and I could really use prayer about this.

Possibly significant is that I don't feel it when I run. So, I don't know where that leaves me, and I won't for sure until I see a doctor.

You've strained your neck muscles most likely. You should really really really rest it. I'll pray though.

Yeah, I'll pray for you, but don't work out until you see a doctor.
