oh - one other thing, having re-read your original post - BillM checked out the SCXD pretty thoroughly when it first came out and there's not enough room for a 12" in there. The 40W Mustang has a 12".

I just bought a used Line 6 Vetta with 2 - 12 for $500 Big enough and versatile for any use. but it is heavy.
I also have the Roland cube , pretty basic but nice. Nice out on the deck
I like the new Fender amps that I have played.
