During heatwaves, I either go swimming, stay in my air conditioned house, or sit in front of a fan (if AC is unavailable).

There is currently a citywide power outage where I live so anything that consumes electricity is unavailable. Public places that would otherwise provide some kind of electrical 'cooling' is most likely closed for the time being. Perhaps it's time to hit the beach?!

My A/C stopped working tonight. It is 82 degrees in my apartment and rising. This is going to be a lame night.

My heart goes out to all of you who lost power yesterday. The news this morning said as many as 6 million people were without power.

With the heat...that truly sucks.

Yeah. It wasn't fun here in San Diego where it was in the 80s and 90s. I can't imagine what it was like in the desert regions that lost power where I heard it was 110+.

We don't have A/C in the store...but at least we have fans. I can imagine 100 degrees with no relief though...it is nasty.
