Are you even sure? There are forces in the area, such as Islam and anamism. Secondarily, is it even a bad thing for things to lean right as opposed to left? To say yes to this is dangerous.

I'm sure one of the motivating factors is something called the Christian Council of Ghana. But its definitely political point scoring. Theologically speaking it looks thin, vulgar. Like I said before, faith qua political weapon.

Is it bad for things to lean right? I don't know. I was making an "is" statement. Not an "ought."

I am going to close this thread.

1) It was opened with an attack on Christianity that was unsubstantiated.
2) Attacking Christians on a Christian board with a straw-man attack is nothing short of trolling.
3) Nobody here has supported the Ghanaian government's decision, so this can only be seen as intentional misrepresenting of the Christian faith.

This crossed a major line.
