They were 4-12 last season. Tebow started three games and the Broncos were 1-2 in those games. His overall QB Rating was 82.1. Orton's rating in 2010 was 87.5 (albeit over 13 games).

He did pretty good. Not great. 1-2 as a starter. Threw for 654 yards, 5 TDs, 3 INTs. Also rushed for 227 yards and 6 TDs (over the course of the year, obviously not in those three games). His avg passer rating was 82. Dry spot was a completion rating of 50%.

For a rookie who spent the first 3 quarters of the season with the B-team those stats aren't too bad. Much room for improvement, but you can't say he went out there and flopped.

To be fair, he lost games to the Chargers and Raiders who were great in division, and beat the Texans who petered out halfway through the season.

But the fans....the fans loved him. I don't know if it's irrational or not, it just is what it is.

Dallas is getting manhandled right now by sf. The offense looks completely out of sync after that first drive.

I'm sure the lack of Dez Bryant doesn't help anything there.

San Diego is doing it's own fair share of self-killing. They had 1st and goal from inside the 5 and couldn't convert and Rivers just threw an INT to Vince Wilfork that led to a NE FG.

Ryan Mathews has been a pleasure to watch so far today. Limited touches, but averaging over 5.5ypc right now plus some decent pickups on screen passes.

and...CRAP

Rivers just threw another pick towards the tail end of an otherwise strong drive.
