At my church, they teach us that we have to be humble and ask for forgiveness for anything we've done
Then we just praise God and get filled up with the Holy Spirit
That's how we do our prayers
I got baptized in the Holy Spirit in March 2011
Its really amazing

THIS is an excellent start. Really, if you want to be truly in the presence of God, start by making sure you are saved by His Holy Spirit. How you are led to confess, in humility, your need for Jesus because you, like all of us, are a sinner, ask Jesus to be the Lord of your life. Of course, if you have not done this already. I have found that it is good to keep me in my place to confess my need for Him regularly, because lets be honest-we always need Him.

Now, immerse yourself in the Bible. I hear you-easier said than done, dude. Always be a student of God's word, because no one will ever know a fraction of a fraction of what He can teach us. God will start to speak to you from the pages, and that is awesome.

Once you are here, God will be using you in amazing ways, that you probably never even imagined. And you will now be completely needing Him as you realize only He can lead you to do what He created you to do.

And please don't make this mistake-don't be going through this only because you want to play music. His music is very important, and is a part of worship, but it is not worship alone. Worship to God is in absolutely everything we do.

Also, don't you dare let that fire that is in you now ever, ever, EVER go out! Keep it burning at all costs in this world! THAT is our witness to those around us-Jesus living in us! Keep it up, brother!

Im my opinion.....You need to just 'ask' God for His Presence.......and just keep asking and asking and asking.

How much do you want this? Are you willing to devote your entire life?

If there is any unconfessed sin in your life agree with God that it is sin and you will have forgiveness.

+1 on the Word! Relationships need communication and one of the primary ways God has chosen to speak to us is through his word.

Revelation 126, we have to be patient ! God doesn't calculate the time as we do (cf II Peter 3, 8 : "But there is one thing, my dear friends, that you must never forget: that with the Lord, a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day").

One thing is sure : God loves you, He is your creator. Never forget it ! give all yourself to Him, and you'll be as hapiness as you have never been !!!
