You got me...

I'm saying they can be as strict as they want as far as I'm concerned.
If their studies concluded that only blood given by folks that are right handed, is acceptable, and their end result has been disease free blood, then I say yippee.

Y'all know what I'm saying. It's their gig.
If I don't want to buy goods from any foreign suppliers, it's not because I'm racist, it's because I support the USA, and I can, quite frankly, buy from anyone I feel like. It's America, brothers and sisters....

Homosexual or Not, has got nothing to do with my opinion.

Right. My point was that if I'm bleeding out on a gurney.... It would be intelligent, and also good business (letting customers die is bad for business) for them to have accepted whatever blood will successfully keep me alive.

Yes, it's America, and they can buy from whoever they want. America also comes with a fairly well-rounded set of anti-discrimination laws.

Australia's Red Cross blood donation service doesn't ask if you are gay but rather had male to male sex in the last 12 months due to higher statistical risk and window period infections.

See: Am I eligible to give blood? | Australian Red Cross Blood Service

and http://www.donateblood.com.au/files/...une%202010.pdf

Also if you lived in the UK between 1980-1996 you are out too - mad cow disease.
