| We don't do anything in the mornings. I may make a pot of coffee but no one outside of me and a couple of others drink it.
We do the occasional "potluck" and then there is no telling what may show up. We have some pretty good cooks in our little congregation. |

| Not my pictures, though I have pictures of the stuff that the ladies at my church make (too lazy to dig for them). I have not only a few recipe books, but the best cooking resource ever, which is my mom.
Also, English translations? What? |

Also, English translations? What? | Bánh ngọt, bánh xôi (w/ chopped peanuts and shredded coconut strings?) Bánh bọ nước chè xôi nước,, -- what do you call these food you just posted in English? I know they are sweet sugary food and I like the bánh Khoai Mi one in the 2nd to last one.
And since I had never attended a Vietnamese church food event or gathering, what other Vietnamese dishes, or rather meals, are served, if any, at your church? Pho, banh xeu? Fried or spring rolls? Vietnamese curry?

| The first two are xôi, sticky rice. It would be xôi ngọt.
The next cake is bánh bọ nướng. Literally, roasted cow cake, haha. No cows involved for those who are curious about the name.
Next is chè xôi nước. The translation is something like dessert sweet rice in water? Haha. It's Sweet rice dumplings in sweet ginger syrup.
Then chè đậu trắng... then different varieties of the agar jello, which I don't know the name of.
Then bánh bọ, the steamed variety. |

| If I remember this weekend, I'll take a picture of my church's cafe area (which has muffins, bagels, donuts, drinks, and candy). On top of that we also have bake sales for various missionaries and such (we have so many missionaries that this ends up being about a bake sale every week or so now), and if we have a guest musician (we have had a lot of guys including Danyew, Moi, and The Wrecking), then we have a big breakfast table set up in the back for the worship team and guest, which is always different.

| A church I attended two years ago for many months had great pastries and cookies and such after church. The current church I attend has meal specials at the cafe each sunday, but they aren't free and I don't ever partake.
