Ok so this song couldn't be anymore perfectly in my key but when i play it on my acoustic it seems to bore me.

Something painfully obvious is missing, I can't even sing it enthusiastically this way it just makes me sad cuz it's such an awesome song. I start the song in the standard G5 and we have a very good drummer & bassist, is it the lack of keyboard? Most songs that I do differently I can make them my own but this one I just seem to make worse.

Any thoughts?
