| I am exceedingly impressed by the segment in the article talking about the program through Kinect that can look at an object and create a 3d rendering of it. |

But, ultimately, that currently has very little use outside of tech demo-y situations. In the future? Sure, I think that tech could make some cool things happen. But not right now. People need to figure out how to make games out of that first.
That said, I was pretty underwhelmed overall by both MS and Sony today. Both were focusing way too hard on their peripherals rather than showing awesome games. |

| A really good Star Wars game is exactly what would make me want to get Kinect.
Halo 4? Where?

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal". |

Bungie has no involvement.

| Hmm. My gut says lame too, Ax but you never know. Maybe they will try to do something new or put a new spin on it somehow. I think trying to emulate Bungie will be a disaster but it could still be fun... the Halo universe is so rich. |

| I'm sure MS has also siphoned off employees who worked with Bungie for the new game.
New Fable, New Halo, New Star Wars. Sounds good to me.

| For some reason I'm feeling like this is going to be the best one since Halo 1, as in the story and not-the-same-game-every-time. Not really sure why though.

| Halo 4 is an opportunity to do something quite different, while keeping Master Chief and Cortana. I hope they take it.

| i want me3 so bad.
And i agree with you on halo 4, it could totally be something different and awesome, or it could just be a crappy attempt by not-bungie trying to be bungie. we shall see....

Not a single one of the main designers.
Also Fable 3 was the worst of the series so I don't expect anything from it. The Star Wars game might be interesting but It's likely to go the way of Rise of Nightmars which IGN labeled the Kinect's first comedy.
So without any new hardware or new title that's not a sequel, I proclaim lame. Quote:

| Battlefield 3 looks awesome. Battlefield definitely gets my vote for best shooter franchise ever. Half Life maybe if it still....was......being made =(
