Half Life is still being made. Half Life 3 is in the works but IIRC it has planned functionality that requires more power.

I know that someday it will be made. I heard that Valve hasn't even starting working on it yet, though (which might be what you are saying). And with a game as sweet as Half Life that they're probably going to take their time on, it's gonna be like 5 more years.
