Locking tuners for a Strat

Got any suggestions? From the hour or two I've spent playing my new Strat, I think they would be a wise choice. Should I consider anything besides the standard Fender ones?

Have you lubricated the nut/saddles already? If you have an issue there, locking tuners aren't going to fix it.

Locking tuners don't help tuning stability with the exception of maybe some benefit for players who don't properly "stretch" the strings when they put them on, since there aren't wraps around the tuning post with slack in them that will release as the guitar gets played. If you have yanked enough on the strings ( "stretched" them) to eliminate slack at the tuning post (and, I believe, there is also some at the ball end), regular tuners are fine. In addition to strings hanging up at the nut, from the slots being too tight, rough on the bottom or whatever, sometimes the bridge will have some friction issues that can cause tuning issues.

+1 on the Major.

locking tuners help if you break a lot of strings and need a quick change, but if your guitar has tuning issues, then 97% of times it aint the tuners at fault

Well, even the extra convenience alone would be nice. I love Amazon prime, I got a set of Fender locking tuners in yesterday, it took 5 mins to change out the old ones.
