| Yeah, you're probably right.
If you're just looking for a straight up British drive, The GeekMacDaddy British Ball Breaker is the way to go. Geek's a friend of mine, I can testify that his builds are top notch.

| I'm guess it's may not be what you're looking for, since you mentioned it in the original post, but I wanted to put a good word for tenwatt's Rat clone. It's a really fantastic box and even more versatile than the Rat itself, cause you get 3 different clipping types. Mine is gonna live on my board for a looong time

I'm pretty sure one of my friends have one, I'll have to go see. I'm seeing them show up in more and more of those Disney band-camp/bandslam type movies, even a movie called "Lemonade Mouth". Good stuff really

| Wait, they used a Rat in Lemonade Mouth? Do you know what the entire rig was? I love their sound.

| Speaking of tenwatt's RAT clone, I don't suppose someone wants to post a demo on a YT vid for us discerning consumers? :P

He was saying a tube screamer may not be what he was looking for...not the RAT.
I've built a few of those RATs now. I'm currently working on one for myself. I kinda became fond of it while testing them out.

Now that I've realized that, I would tell the OP to seriously consider it. It's so versatile, and the price is killer, so you can't really go wrong!

| I might just take you up on that offer. However, I promised I would buy myself a new Strat before school starts, so you might not get an order for one until then. I need to hear what it sounds like, so please post audio or something.
