INTRODUCING...the AXE FX II

I do not know if you guys have heard, they just announced it a little while ago on the fractal forums.

The axe fx II

It has USB and headphone outs plus twice the power of the axe fx ultra.

Price? $2,199.00

THERE WILL BE NO WAITING LIST.

So I am taking that as saying..... get ready to WAIT to click on a button again and HOPE you can purchase one.

Man, some people on the fractal forums said they waited a YEAR for an ultra....I wonder how long it will take to get one of these?

I'm not sure what that is, but I'd rather drop $2200 on a new PRS

Like Soap, I would also rather drop $2200 on a guitar or an amp or both! And I would make sure that I could get my new gear in less than a month, not wait a year

Guitars
Ibanez ARX320 (the best LP copy under $1000, IMO)
Starcaster Strat by Fender (I was told not to get rid of my first guitar)
Ibanez AEF18E (great bright acoustic)

Amps
Line 6 Spider III 75 (use it as a base for pedals)

FX
Line 6 M13 (I take it for granted most of the time)

Me, personally, I'd take the system over a new guitar any day. Those things are nice.

Maybe, my LP custom is worth around that, and I am not selling it to get one...

but it sounds amazing. (I hope it drives prices on the 1st gen down)

As an Axe-Fx Ultra owner...I'm experiencing serious GAS right now. It addresses every single issue I ever had with my Ultra, and then some. Some of the recording features on that thing are downright jaw-dropping as well, and seeing as I'm going to be spending time in the studio very soon...

Well, lets just say that I'm pretty sure I'll be playing with one some time in the next year. The buy in cost shouldn't be too bad either, seeing as I'll sell my Ultra to fund it.

Perhaps if the choice were between the axe fx and a McPherson I could be convinced. It's all theoretical, I don't have that much free money anyway. Yet.
