Software Books

So I am finishing my degree in electrical engineering and I really want to learn more programming especially C++ and Java. I have taken programming classes but not on the level of a CS person. What are some good books for teaching learning C++ and Java. Thanks.

There was one I was looking at called "Teach Yourself C++ in 24 Hours". Not too bad for getting some foundational C++ in.
