| New Pedalboard Day Or perhaps more appropriately, first pedalboard day. I must confess, with the sale of my MIM Tele, and with the VS Dual Tap Delay being 3-4 months away yet, I caved.
I went ahead and got a DD-7 and a Pedaltrain Mini.
I really like this simple setup. Plus, there's enough variations on the drive, delay, and trem to keep me busy learning about the possibilities for a while I think. It would certainly be to my benefit to just learn these ones through and through before adding any other effects.
And yes, the cord from the DD-7 to the tap is extraordinarily long. However, it's one that I had lying around, and therefore, one less thing that I had to buy. |

I've seen the Visual Sound Dual Tap, it's expensive tho ($250)....ha, rather have it than the Line6 DL4 tho, it's just that sweet

| Thanks. I've really been enjoying the DD7 - such a nice compact, but complex, pedal.
I haven't been able to play with anyone since moving (was in one of the bands at our previous church), so I've been itching to put this setup to use with some other folks, but I suppose I'll just need to wait till that opportunity arrives. For now, it's just home-playing. |

| yea, the DD-7 is a totally different animal when using the FS-5U....
i dont' know if you play much hillsong and united but to get their setting they use the dotted eighth note patterns which is the 800ms setting and turn the effect level knob to 1o'clock and the F.Back to 9:30ish...the D.Time knob won't matter since you're using the tap tempo.
This will get you the delay settings for songs such as Run, You Deserve, and others.
Also Experiment with the Triplet and Eighth Notes with these settings....
Hope this helps get use some cool ideas!!
Keep in mind that some songs like Desert Song will require two delay's at once so you would need another DD-7 as Desert Song is one delay set to dotted eighth and another on a triplet setting but for now i suppose a single DD-7 will do just fine
