Could be a bulb, the sun, a match, an open window, a skylight, etc. If it's giving light to an area, then it's a light source.

3) We will not exclude images based on conforming to the rules, but keep in mind that one of the things the image will be judged on is how well it shows this week's challenge subject.

I went with Jon's open window (John? Jonn? Johhhhnnn? Jo-on?) for it's great composition and effective use of the natural light. Just a classy photograph.

My second vote went to purple girl's fire because...I love fire. And the mirrored color from both the fire and sunset was a nice touch.
