The Mavs are returning to the finals. They have only lost a few games (2?) this post season. They have looked really good. Dirk has shot over 60 free throws and I think missed two. The whole team shoots free throws well. Now they will have a few days to rest and prepare for their next opponent.

I'm really excited to see what OKC and the Bulls can do over the next few years.

Did anybody catch that Cleavland has the 1st and 4th pick in the draft? I understand it's going to be a weak draft and may take a year or two to develop a player or two, but this should help them considerably.

I take some consolation in the fact that Portland had more success against the Mavs than any of their other playoff opponents so far... as meaningless as that fact is.

Ack, I was hoping Dallas would lose.

Oh well. They still will, it will just take time.

i really thought okc would push the series more than they did...their inexperience really showed toward the end of games. that coupled with the fact that dirk is unstoppable in the 4th.

Three games in a row where the Bulls had a lead (not just 1-2 points either) with less than 5 minutes to go and lost the game. Are the Heat that good? Or do the Bulls just completely lack the ability to close a game. I'll be camping on Tue so I won't get to watch game one, but I'm looking forward to the series. Actually I'm leaving for Brazil on on 6 June, so maybe I'll get to watch one game...we'll see. I'm really hoping this is Dirks year. GO MAVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel like the Heat are the only team in the east that could stop the Mavs at this point. Dirk isn't my favorite player but I think it's about time that he gets his ring. I'd actually feel kinda bad if he didn't get it this time, cause I don't think he'll have another real shot at it in his career.

And yet according to what I'm seeing on the internet they are only down by four. And just like in all these series, they only have to steal one of these first two. This first one would be huge. But man has Miami shown that they can close games.

For most people, the issue isn't that he left, it's the way in which he did it. There's a difference between leaving and having a small press conference saying, "I've decided to leave blah blah blah" and having a 1 hour long ESPN special dedicated to your free agency.

My heart wants the Heat to be humiliated... but my heart also wants Dirk and the Mavs to choke. Why can't both teams lose?

you know out of all the players that have done stupid stuff or had no class everybody picks on L.JAMES there wasn't this much talk when that guy brought a gun to the locker room. why pick on someone that didn't hurt anybody or put anybody in danger? can anyone tell me that?
