| I am at Mom's house. I just got 1.17 Down, .98 Up. Pretty typical for here. She had Digital Path, which is wireless from the access point to the house, then WiFi in the house. She gets a bad connection to the access point. Digital Path has the worst customer service ever, but this is unfortunately the best hi speed option here. As soon as AT&T gets DSL laid, she is switching. Also, Digital Path is so expensive....
At home, I generally get 12-17 down, 5+ up if nobody else is using it. |

| Holy shoot you guys have fast internet.
Ironically I was calling to complain earlier about my providers internet. We were apparently paying 45$ a month for a 3.0 mbps connection (speed tests run about 2.6). I gave em a piece of my mind. That plan was maybe 3 or 4 years old (it doesn't exist anymore but it used to be the highspeed enhanced). So the current highspeed plan costs $37 per month and should get 6.0 mbps. Pretty pathetic that we were stuck on the older more expensive one til today.
Anyway long story short I complained more and should be getting the 15 mbps internet now (tomorrows speed tests will tell for sure) and should be paying a few dollars less with the agreement worked out.

| Supposedly 18Megs. Speedtest puts me at 12. Gonna replace a network cable this weekend and we'll see what happens.

| Might I add, not to boast or anything, but I'm also using an old and highly abused cable that I carry around in my backpack wherever I go. |
