I would recommend Chris LeDoux, Rusty Wier, and Billy Joe Shaver if you really want to hear some good country music. Growing up listening to traditional country I can't stand the pop music they call country these days.

Alternative Country is what most people seem to call her. Doesn't really matter. She's incredible. Everyone should check out Blacklisted.
