Looking for Band Members

Hey all, I am currently seeking any one wishing to start a country name from scratch. I play rhythm guitar and sing. I am looking for a drummer, another rhythm player, lead, and bass player. Any other instruments are welcome. Looking to play 1990's style country music with some of the old stuff thrown in. I have an open mind and believe if it sounds good, then play it. Any one interested I am in the Fayetteville, GA area so drop me a line if you are interested. I am very serious about this and would like to take it as far as it can go.

Sure we read it, but there just aren't people from your area probably.

It's about a 5 hour drive for me. I may be late for practice.

This is the Timmy, the Timmy allows people from all over the world to read this site. There are approximately 188,000 members. There are over 19,000 towns in the U.S. In the English speaking world there are MANY MANY more. (Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and more). While the majority of people on this site are U.S. Citizens, many are not. Now, given the fact that less than 10% of registered members on this site have more than 1 post (that's 18,000) the likelihood of somebody else from your small suburb of Atlanta reading this is slim. There may be people in the greater ATL area that do, but the chances are slim.

Now given the short amount of time between your posts (relative to how often this particular sub-forum is posted in) it's incredibly improbable that you'll find somebody on these forums in that short amount of time. Not only that but Country isn't the most (or even close to) popular genre of music on these boards.

Now I'm not discouraging you from posting, in fact, I encourage it. I once landed a gig through these boards. I am, however, suggesting that you be more patient. Also, try Craigslist.

Fayetteville is a bit too far to drive from Haines City, FL. Why didn't you post this when I was still attending Ga Tech?

Of course, if you'd like to relocate to Polk County, FL, and give up country in favor of rock, we could probably arrange something.

Bandlink.com

There's finally a place to go when looking for local musicians to jam and make bands with:

Bandlink.com

as a musician I was sick of looking at the crappy ads on craigslist since that's basically your only choice.. so we created BandLink!

Tell your friends, we'll tell ours.
Together we'll have plenty of musicians to jam with.

Rock On!
