I don't read the Word as much as I should. But I do think and meditate on it quite a lot. I recently bought the audio book of the NKJV. It was very inexpensive on iTunes, under $10. It's on my iPod and I've been listening to it for the last few days as I'm drifting off to sleep, or when I'm doing housework, etc. The version I have is just reading, no sound effects, and the reader has a nice voice. I've really been enjoying it. There's something about hearing the Word that can change your perceptions of what is being taught.

I agree, OiBoyz, there is something about hearing that changes your perception. Yet at the same time, the narrator's vocal inflections can be misleading and that's why I prefer to read a part over and over again, pondering it deeply, to find the meaning as best as I can.
