Nil. The odds you would have ever met said boyfriend 20 years ago. Thank God for the internet right?

But even five years ago, Skype was just barely getting off the ground. The internet innovates amazingly fast. It's crazy.

Along the lines of this, when I was living at home, my parents always asked to use my cell phone when they called home because it had free long distance calling.

That would be a pretty big stack of records. Maybe 20 pounds of vinyl. Maybe 50.

My current cell phone has a processor over 15x faster, and has 16x the ram, not to mention 23x the storage capacity of my first computer. Not to mention having GPS, wireless & 3g data, a camera that does 720p video, etc.

when I was growing up, 14 second cars from a dealership were fast. Now new cars are running low 11's.

My motorcycle makes double the horsepower and weighs something along the lines of 100lb less of what race bikes were when I was born.

My first computer (in 1991) had a 1024x768, 21" CRT (dad was a software developer and had way cool toys for the era). My current "cheapo" work setup is dual 24" widescreen monitors with a combined resolution of 3840x1080
