| I for one am really glad to see time change come around. Brazil uses day light savings time as well, only of course it's the opposite of course. We set our clocks back 2 weeks ago. Prior to that the time difference between here and home was four hours. Now it's three. Tomorrow it will only be two. It makes it easier to keep in touch with my wife when we are closer to being in the same time zone.
It was funny when the company sent reminders to all the boats to turn their clocks back (since it's fall here). The person sending the email speaks Portuguese and used one of those translator programs to send the email in English. It said something to the effect of "Don't forget, all clocks must be retarded tonight." |

| yeah, not sure what i'm doing on cgr at 12:29am, given that I have to be at the church before 7am (and technically since it doesn't spring forward until 2am, it might as well be 1:30... doh).
I like the longer days, but the downside is that we're back to dark morning commutes for a while still
great for afternoons though, YAY! |

| I love the dark morning. Hopefully it means I sleep better at work. |

| I found it pretty hard to get out of bed this morning, and I kept almost nodding off during class this morning. Not a fan of the lost sleep, but I like it being light out longer.

| I really don't get daylight savings time. Studies on energy savings are inconclusive at best. It's just meddling. We can't even leave time alone.

| well, in the winter time here we would end up with sunset ~2:30 in december, and conversely a 4:30 sun up in the summer time.
Although lighter mornings do help me get up easier, it's not worth it. I wish they hadn't moved the dates quite as much though. |

| Usually Daylight Savings time takes me by surprise, however this time I was actually still awake when my phone changed at 2:00 am I believe.
