Cause seriously that would be one of the most INAPPROPRIATE things to show in a class, ever.

Whenever we have an off day in my Bio class we watch Discovery: Life or Planet Earth. In a way they could applicable to a geography class. Everybody loves them though and they're definitely pretty good at keeping everyone quiet.

We watched mythbusters whenever we had free class in physics, that was always popular.

It's fabulous.
It's also excellent for buttering toast.

You could load it in your browser, on your laptop, and then connect that to the projector at school.

Netflix has it on Instant watch. That's how I watched it.

Due to an extremely slow internet connection last Friday, we ended up watching an episode of Mythbusters I had saved to my hard Drive.

This is a documentary I show to my Spanish 1 students (Mostly freshmen). It's very well done and nearly all of the students are glued to it. Very applicable to a geography class. The only problem is availability. I had to mail an order form with a check to get it. It came pretty quickly, 2 weeks or so. Maybe something to think about for the future.
