but yeah his lates is using all the forks, and plates in our house, and leaving them in his room covered in rotten food, collecting ants and mice, in my house....

HAH. Wow. It was really just a guess, but they really would be perfect for each other.

You should probably kick your roommate out. Also, I might be able to work that out. I miss Colorado. And she'd probably hate it. Perfect plan! Plus, I'd save on plane fare!

my roomate constanly disrespects my wife, and does not help with housework even though the agreement to move in was to help with housework. but she doesn't want to kick him out cause we need the money.

and you'd be away from your roomate too, as long as you don't mind dealing with my wifes crazy but fun family, and the baby...

you'd be in the basement, so he wouldn't bother you.

I don't understand how people get away with this.

I don't have this problem with my current roommate(s), but the one is snarky and just mean sometimes. She has a lot of issues. Plus, both of them tend to be messy and I like things clean. I'm ready to move. :\
