NPD - Marshall Regenerator

My DOD micro chorus has been flaking out on me lately so I took it off the board. Going back and forth about whether to replace it with another chorus or a phaser I came across the RG-1 for $40. It has a vintage and modern chorus, flanger, phaser and step phaser, and vibe settings. This is pedal I've never tried and only heard via youtube. Should be interesting. Hopefully it will at least have one sound worth $40.

grrr... Paypal ran my payment with a 5 day hold so I doubt I'll have the pedal for next weeks show. If Paypal lets me down one more time I'm calling Charlie Sheen.

Sad day. Let us know how it is when you finally get it! I've heard those Marshall pedals are a really good value for how much they cost, especially the jackhammer and delay.

I got the pedal yesterday. These things are cool! I haven't tried all the settings out in detail yet, but they all work. Vintage Chorus is very workable. The uni-vibe is awesome and the step phase is downright wicked with an expression pedal. I have shows on Friday and Saturday so I hope its a short learning curve. I'm planning on using the step phase on Fee's We Shine. I'll use the Chorus on several songs and I'm going to force the uni-vibe into something, don't know what yet.

I thought it was mandatory to use a new pedal on EVERY song. If the rest of the band complain, tell them it's a new pedal . They'll understand.

Very refreshing words. It is surprising how many band mates don't get this simple concept. Instead of complaining, you'd think they would just be thankful that I didn't buy a ring modulator or a Grunge pedal.

It takes one gig or one rehearsal for a guitarist to get over a new pedal. Any new pedal, even a Ring Mod. If the other musos don't have this basic understanding, and won't agree to some appropriate therapy, you may be in the worng band.
