Dude seriously, Raven West, I have two of them, and have had some of there others, older stuff. AMazing if you upgrade the pups and hardware, even if you dont still as good as any Epiphone out there.

Seriously, my Raven West LP is my number one guitar!

Here are some pics of my Raven West's, the Tele is out of commish right this second, waiting for a new bridge pup and bridge as you can see. I seriously cant say enough about these guitars, and no I have no affiliation with them.

I will add a vote or Agile from rondomusic.com We have 3 Agiles and they are a great deal. Sx is not bad either. Aria makes some nice budget guitars. My most recent is a Fender Blacktop Tele. Great guitar for $500 and fast becoming one of my favorites.

The Raven West LP is absurdly pretty. When you say hardware, are you talking about tuners or including bridge and tailpiece?

right all hardware, it functions excellent stock, but the brushed chrome/satin look is a bit cheesy IMO

Reverends are amazing, but they are no longer budget minded. It is a shame the prices Keep climbing.

No one has mentioned Washburn yet.

I recently picked up a Washburn I64 for $200. Nice guitar to play (even though I'm still learning). My frame of reference is limited as before now I've only played acoustic guitar, but I find this Washburn to do pretty much everything I need or want, and the price was right.

Flat top
Mahogany body
Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays
Stop tail with tune-o-matic bridge
Modern single cutaway
WB630 HH pickups
3 way switch
Buzz feiten tuning system

Howdy Bigralphn, another welcome from a long time alternate forumite...

I have seen some Rondo Music guitars, and they are fine budget guitars as well, after a good set up.
