| AT&T is cheaper than verizon, and has a vastly faster network, unless you have access to LTE (and then they're pretty close- of course you won't be getting a 4G iphone anytime soon either).
Honestly, you ought to see who has good coverage near you. Sprint often has the cheapest plans (and with 4g can be one of the faster available, but their service is definitely not as comprehensive as at&t or verizon.
If you're getting an iphone, removing one of the best features of the phone, and giving it crippled bandwidth seems dumb to me.
Unless you live in SF or NYC, at&t isn't the evil craptasticness that everyone wants to paint it. If you are, I'm sorry. |

| i used to have sprint when i lived in dallas. it was cheap for me as i had been with them for 13 years until jan of last year they decided they didnt want to fix my problem of dropping 5-6 calls a day (no exageration). my phone software was updated and it was just that my specific area didnt have great cell coverage. then they wanted me to pay extra money to have a cell signal booster in my apt. that didnt make sense to me as i dont want to pay for something that i should have already. i was still ready to stay with them as i had been on a "customer retention" plan, but then they basically told me that i had to pay full price, so i am now with verizon for just over a year now.
i can tell you that i have maybe dropped 5 calls in the last year. verizon has been really good for me, and i also like their choices of phones.

| see i have t-mobile, and my phone daily for about 3 hours will not recieve/make calls, or recieve/send text messages. i've had the phone replaced 4 times, and it has not fixed anything, they will not do anything for me except charge me full price for a phone. so i want to go with a different service provider to get a different phone at a new customer rate. |

| Todd, AT&T is pretty crappy here, my dad's (AT&T) work phone has plenty of issues placing/receiving calls. I'm on Verizon and I'm never without service. And, if it's a big deal for you, unlimited data still exists on VZw.
I can tell that you're kind of in need of a new phone, but if you can wait a bit until the iPhone 5 is out, it'd be a great idea. |

| I'm currently using a Blackberry Bold 9650 with OS 6 and I love it. Huge upgrade from my Pre Plus, which is not a great phone.
If you're not a Blackberry fan, Verizon has several great Android phones. Stay away from the ones that aren't DROID-something. Most others have Bing set as the default search engine (which you can't change) and are pretty crippled.

| I love me some Verizon Wireless. I won't justify the reasons. They have all been stated a billion times. |

| If you want to get the best coverage, get either at&t or verizon. I have at&t and I've never had problems with it. It does depend on where you live, but I always have good service, never any dropped calls or anything like that. If you really want an iPhone, it doesn't really make sense to me to get Verizon, like red baron said, so I'd get at&t.

| i dont hate att just b/c i am on verizon, but att seems to have major probs in congested areas. supossedly will.i.am tried to tweet during the halftime show, but he couldnt b/c he didnt have a signal...he was on att.
also its pretty widely known that major cities such as nyc and sf have connectivity issues, so if you are in a major city, beware.

| T-Mobile is the worst. Whatever you do, don't ever get T-Mobile again.
