Hey guys

I'm visiting Ottawa in a couple of weeks for a few days. Couple of questions - what's the weather like? Also we have a free day so what's good to check out?

Any other tips/advice?

Weather right now is -15 degrees Celsius in Ottawa (1 pm). That's probably a tic below average for this time of year, but not much.

This site is definitely worth checking out - you can see a million things in Ottawa so it really depends on what you're interested in. The Royal Canadian Mint is very interesting, if you're interested in art the National Gallery of Canada has a fantastic collection. Parliament Hill is great as well, although I'm not sure how interesting that would be to non-Canadians. If you have anywhere in particular in mind and I've been there I could tell you what I thought. Hope this helps.

Thanks mate. That is so so cold - hopefully I'll survive.... Because it never really goes below 0 where I am I don't really have all that many warm clothes or good shoes, but I've bought a couple of things and hopefully they'll do (or I'll be rushing into the shops when I get there). Because it is for work, I'll be in a suit most of the time

Went to Ottawa for the first time last summer. It's a nice city.
