You know, the article seems to say no one is really that worked up about it. They said the school is moving on and not harboring ill will. Why is this even news?

That said, the most important point is that the coach thought about the issue and tried to do the right thing. We have enough people being donkeyholes intentionally. If someone does it accidentally while trying to do the right thing, give them a break.

Well that changes things. There's nothing you can do and there's nothing you can be upset about in that case. It's absurd to tell the girls to not play as hard.

And yes, it sounds as if people weren't actually as upset as the news is making it out to be.
