Mother's Back to Black

Have any of you used this stuff? It is to restore trim on cars.

My Volvo has black trim. Well, it was originally black. It has faded to a kind of light gray. Well, I used it today, and that stuff is simply awesome. It works well, and it is super easy to use. I did not finish, because it started to get dark and my hand started to cramp up, but I will finish day after tomorrow, and I will take some pictures. It looks incredible where I have already used it.

In fact, it makes the parts where I haven't used it just look old and yucky.

I generally trust anything from Mother's or Meguiar's.

Indeed. I am thinking about getting a Meguiar's clay kit and doing the car. It already looks good, but clay makes it look even better, right?

I have used it in the past. Right now I have been using 303 aerospace protectent. I use it on the fenders trim and soft top of my jeep. They fade out really quick in the summer and that stuff is amazing. I got mine from a boating supply store.

I've used the clay bar from Meguires and it works well. Takes out trail scratches that aren't too deep. Haven't done the whole Jeep though. Like said above that would take forever.

I have worked with clay before. Sure, it would be a project... But it's an investment. It would keep my car looking good for quite a while. If I broke it down section by section, it would not be that bad at all.
