Hollowbody/Semi-Hollowbody Guitars

I've been delving into a lot of jazz lately and I'm thinking of saving up for a jazz centric hollowbody or semi-hollowbody guitar which I can string up with .13s and get a nice rich tone out of. I don't really know all that much about them since I've only played and owned solid body electrics. I hear Ibanez Artcore series are good guitars, and I've been looking into a Cort Source at a local guitar shop. What are some good hollowbody or sem-hollowbody guitars in the under $500 range?

I really enjoyed the Epi Emperor II I used to own. I kinda miss it, actually. Great jazz axe.

Epiphone Sheraton II is a good option too. The Emperor and Sheraton are my two favorite guitars that Epiphone has EVER offered. They sound good stock and they'll sound GREAT with a pickup/electronic swap.

I hope this isn't too spammy, but this is still available if you want to give the Ibanez a try:

Speaking of, I'd probably see if you lean more toward semi-hollow or full-hollow. The semi-hollow axes such as the Sheraton II have never really jived well with me, personally.
