| Effects you didn't like What are some of the pedals that are widely known to be great pedals but you personally couldn't get the hype?
For me it was the OCD. I know lots of people can get some killer tones with this pedal, but for the short time I messed with it it just seemed to bassy for me. I have no doubt that if I spent more than an hour with it that I would for sure be able to come up with some great uses for it, but I guess I was just expecting it to be a plug-in-and-play kind of pedal (I was borrowing it from a friend for a short time).
What about you guys?

| Never owned one, but my bro-in law did - a 60's Vox Tone Bender Fuzz. That thing sounded awful.

It's fairly new, and it is ridiculously awesome.
As for pedals I don't like...oh man...there is lots. I work at a guitar store and play with almost everything that comes in.
The LovePedal Kalamazoo is really not for me. |

| I really can't recommend it enough. I took it home from work for two weeks and just couldn't stop using it Quote:

Actually, I like the sound of all the small pedals they make, but internal trim pots kill me.

| Chorus. In general. The only time I ever enjoyed chorus was when I modded my Small Clone to a vibrato sound.
And the Boss CS-3. *shudder* |

| Another pedal for me would be the Modded DS1. Again, I know there are some good tones in it, but alas for what I was playing I could never get great sounds. I've had two different modded DS1's and I couldn't convince myself to keep either of them.

However, when a friend of mine was looking for a new pedal, I let him try it with his Twin Reverb and it sounded like crap. |

| +1 for chorus in general. Also tubescreamers that aren't made by SBN. Probably the worst was the ZVEX distortion though. I hated that thing. |

| +2 on chorus, especially when used in a live context....
the sonic equivalent of a mint green polyester leisure suit; too bad both were not abandoned in the 70's

The Box of Rock was terrible. I really don't understand it's popularity.
