And the Boss CS-3. *shudder* | Yeah, I agree. The only time I've ever had any use for chorus is when I have it set to mimic a rotary speaker. And it still doesn't sound that great. I very rarely use it, and I don't like it when people saturate their tone in it. Lots of people are prone to overusing it in praise and worship.

| A couple years ago I owned an original issue Ibanez CS-9. It had a great chorus sound to it. When I turned it on, I was instantly sounding like Andy Summers...
Too bad I didn't want to sound like Andy Summers. |

| For me, chorus is about using it so subtly that most folks aren't aware of it. But I wear my mint green polyester leisure suit with pride.
I had a Boss Heavy Metal pedal that I couldn't get on with. It just seemed to turn the guitar into a square wave generator. |

| Boss Metal Zone. First pedal I ever bought many moons ago and I'm not sure why . . . I don't even like metal.
Still trying to get rid of that thing. |

I really didn't like the Dirty Little Secret ether. It was another one of those pedals that only sounded good on one setting and it took me a while to find that one setting. This is exactly how I felt about the Box of Rock and the GT-500 too.

| Any type of flanger pedal I just can't stand. The Fulltone GT-500 was way over rated and the Fulltone Ultimate Octave fell flat as an octave-up to my ears. I LOOOOOVE the Fulltone OCD. I have a version 3 OCD going into a version 4 OCD on my board. Awesome. |

| I think it's funny that I love just about everything listed so far!
I love the OCD, BOR, Tubescreamers, chorus, Tonebenders, GT-500, Fulldrive...
The only pedals I ever remember really not liking were the newere EH Holy Grail Plus. I was disappoined because I loved the original Holy Grail, but it was almost unuseable because of the noise. The Holy Grail plus sounds nothing like the original to me however.
Also didn't like the Subdecay Liquid Sunshine... Felt really stiff and almost gated to me.

| For some reason I could never get in to the Fuzzface tone. Not my cup of tea I guess.

| I've just realised, I automatically dislike any pedal I can't afford. |

| Couldn't get along with my buddy's SD-1. Too nasal and not very transparent. I love the OCD and Lovepedal Eternity Fuse. |

| You know, i was thinking about this more and I realized so much of it has to do with what guitar and amp I'm using with the pedal.
For instance,
I love the OCD with a Fender amp, but I wasn't crazy about it with a Vox.
I loved the Fulldrive with a Vox amp, but I wasn't crazy about it with a Fender.
I love a Fuzz Face with a tweed Fender, or a Marshall, but I don't like it with a blackface Fender
I love my Dynacomp with my Telecaster, but not with my Strat.
I love my Tonebender with my Telecaster, but not with my Strat
I can't stand most fuzz pedals with a Les Paul, but I love all of them with my Strat and Tele
The Box of Rock sounded like it was made for my Bad Cat Cub II, but didn't get along with my Dr. Z at all

So, I assumed I would like their other fuzz pedals... took home the '70 ... and hated it.
A co-worker of mine is in love with it, though... I just couldn't get over the treble cut. |

| I pretty much like most pedals I've tried, but not all of them suit my playing.
But there are other people who can make them sound great--for example--I have trouble with a wah pedal--so I have a Dynamic Wah--where how hard I play affects the wah, but others amke that pedal sing.
