| Okay I'm back but with some input this time
I did some research (pretty surface research). There's this site Play Fun Multiplayer Games Free At OMGPOP
You can invite your bf/gf to your specific game and play together.
They have arcade games in addition to games that would probably encourage talking and interaction.
Like:
Jigsawce: a jig saw puzzle you put together... together.
Draw my thing: I don't think it's as bad as it sounds lol, it's like pictionary. You draw and your date guesses what you're drawing I guess.
Letterblox: "A timed race to see who can make the most words with 6 random letters"
Now, I haven't played any of these. But it sounded interesting. I'd check it out if I were in a LDR. Heck, I'd check it out if I were in a SDR. |

I feel like it'd be kind of cool if you could play any games that involved mailing each other back and forth...unless that got expensive... (post stamps cost a lot or something?) I have no idea what kind of games you could play, so maybe my idea is flawed...

| Hey, Raincor Beast. Heather and I were 1200 miles apart for the year we dated. We watched the same movie while talking on the phone. Cooking a meal together sounds fun. I also agree with Bill - my wife and I had better communication skills (i.e. the ability to have a 2 hour conversation every night) when we were far apart. Of course, we don't need 2 hour conversations now, and a certain 4 year old makes sure we DON'T have 2 hour conversations.
We also bought these little Bible study booklets, read the Bible to each other over the phone, and then worked through the booklets.

That's what meatdigit and I did. 10pm -12pm. Every. Single. Night. And I agree, built wonderful communication skills for us, that oftentimes lack these days. He would also oftentimes play his guitar or piano for me over the phone...*sigh* so romantical. |
