New CB setup!
Hey guys, I just got my CB radio in last night. Got it mounted this morning, now all I'm waiting for is the antenna mount for my 102" whip! I'll post some more pictures when I get the antenna mounted.

As promised, here are some photos of the antenna and mount! It works pretty good, I've sent and received from about 10 miles. Nothing major, but pretty good.

Tried doing that today. I was able to give them my order, but before I got to the window, they asked me to pick up my food inside. Guess someone in front of me tipped them off.

Snitch. lol. So what do you use one of those for? Other than talking with truckers.

It's incredibly useful for long trips. I use it mainly for traffic updates and the like. Emergency channel nine is there also, but I'm not sure how many people actually monitor it anymore. I also use it for the rare times I go off-roading in the truck. Good stuff. You ever had one?

Oh I see, that's pretty cool! Sounds pretty useful! No, I've never had one. Not that driving a truck of any sort is a requirement for these, but I'm not a truck person. And a 120" antennae would look god-awful on my 2 door coupe. lol. I use my radio for long trips. Music, podcasts. Good stuff.
