| Christmas stuff thread! Somebody had to do it
So did anybody get any guitar-related Christmas gifts?
This year was more drum-oriented for me, but I got some guitar strings! Very happy about that. Also, my parents are chipping in some money to get me a hardcase for the Telecaster I will be buying as soon as a guy pays me on ebay for the blues junior I just sold.

| Digitech RP155, a little mahogany travel guitar, and an iPod Nano.
The Nano is just way cool even though I never really thought I'd like one. Music is a really big deal with me and I'm sure I'll use it more than I ever thought.
I haven't had time to even power up the the Digitech yet. Someone threw away the operator's manual so I need to get another one. I read it last night and it looks like a pretty impressive bit of gear.
The little travel guitar sounds like a six string ukulele. It has good bass but the highs are dull. I really am enjoying it though and plan on using the daylights out of it this year. I'll probably leave it out this winter and spare my good guitar the dry weather.
Mostly, though, I got to celebrate our Lord in a congregation that is strong enough to take some pretty stiff punches from the devil this year. |

| Picks, strings and an ebow to replace one that was stolen.
I also got a bunch of money that will help fund a Gretsch purchase. |

| I got some key cover things--that fit over the "handle" part of the key, and are shaped like guitar bodies.
But that's okay--I don't need a bunch of stuff.

| Thanks to the fact that my Dad now works at Apple, I was able to score Apple Logic and an Apogee interface this Christmas. I can't wait to get back to writing and recording more often!
