| One problem you are going to have is that that is a boost, so the more it is boosting the low end, it will also get louder. If you want something like that, an eq pedal would probably be far more useful.

| whynot, "what's the difference between them?"
One is a FX peda, the other is a FX pedal and a DI box.

| The Mole is interesting. One of EH's first products was the "LPB-1" which was a simple, one transistor preamp. They then modified that simple circuit into two other products, the Screaming Tree treble booster and the Mole bass booster. In the Screaming Tree, they replaced the input capacitor with a much smaller one that stripped away the low end.
In the Mole they took the LPB-1 and put a big capacitor to ground on the input. This stripped all high end. Basically it's a bass tone control, with a very large capacitor turned down all the time. What this pedal gets you is a tone, completely stripped of mids and highs, so all you're left with is low bass.
Your tone will have no clarity or punch, but will just be bassy and muddy. I've built several of these circuits over the years.
The control on the pedal does not control the amount of bass, or the amount of mids and highs stripped, but just controls the overall volume of the pedal. The mids and highs are always stripped out.
The Behringer is a full featured preamp with separate controls for bass, treble, presence, drive and output level. It also has a control to allow blending the effected signal with the dry, uneffected signal. And it has an XLR output to connect to a mic input on a PA plus the 1/4" input and output.
With the bass control up and the treble and presence down, it will do what the Mole will, if you like that tone.
It is a versatile pedal with great tone. The Mole is a simple, limited use pedal with one, bassy, muddy tone.
The difference in price between the Mole and the Behringer is (using current exchange rates) is 89 cents American...Less than $1.

| Moderators, I don't read Turkish but I think the above poster is more interested in marketing his firm than playing the guitar.

| If I'm honest, no. I plugged my bass into a good amp at school and tried out the mole. I couldn't really tell the difference. It just makes it louder and doesn't change the sound. I should probably find a bass amp and use that.
I think my church has a behringer bass amp lying around. I'll see if I can't use that.

| ...but this is excellent news. If I remember rightly you're still in your mid-teens and already you've bought a piece of gear that doesn't do what you wanted. And we learn by doing. I wish I'd learned that early.

| I'm going to lend it to a guitarist friend, see if he wants it. If he does, I'll sell it to him, see if I can't get some of my money back. |
