| I managed to strike gold today. My friend got Skyrim as a gift from the gift pile today. Since he already owned the game, he gave it to me in exchange for a coupon and $5 game. It has been a very good Christmas.

| Loving this game. It took me a while before I even started worrying about the main objective, spent a lot of time just exploring. Can't wait to dig more into it. |

I'm trying to platinum this game (for you non-PS3 people—acquire every achievement) and it has kind of wrecked the role-playing aspect of the game (not that I really care). My character is basically a psychopath who manipulates people and does whatever he wants without regard to any laws or rules of any sort. Though I've technically only murdered one person according to my stats. And whenever possible I try to do good. Oi.

They've released one patch which is supposed to clear up some issues... apparently it becomes really noticeable at 12MB and the issue isn't totally fixed.

| Possible spoilers???
I joined the Imperial Legion. But in doing so I failed to join the Stormcloaks. I was a bit peeved that you are unable to follow both lines. |

They seem like racist turds but the imperials are tyrannical turds. Lose/lose. But I figure murdering people merely assumed to be in the company of political dissidents (as the Legion tries to do to your character at the beginning of the game) is worse than being a bit racist.
Unrelated: Shadowmere is awesome.

| I started this game right as it came out. In the middle of January I moved into a new place and all my Xbox stuff went into a box. I haven't had a big impulse to play it since then. That's not a good sign. I played Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout: New Vegas religiously. I don't feel like I am missing much in Skyrim.
They told us it wouldn't look like the generic fantasy of world of Oblivion (I liked that world, thank you very much), but the world of Skyrim looks pretty generic. Companions have little to no depth. Dragon fights get repetitive. The plot is almost too morally ambiguous, paralyzing me from making a decision.
Eh. I'm disappointed overall.

The Stormcloaks want to drive the Imperials out of Skyrim. The Imperials want to crush the Stormcloaks entirely.
How can you side with both?
(for what it's worth, I haven't gone far in the game, but I suspect the Thalmor are behind everything...I'm hoping that ultimately the Stormcloaks and Imperials can be united)

| It is understandable not to allow it I mean, why would the other army acept you?
Also, with out going in to much detal the cival war is NOT the main story line, its part of it but not the whole |
