That looks intriguing. Not the Elixers. That pickup. I was just looking at the more expensive one, with dual mono inputs for two different transducers. Have you heard the other one? I'm curious, because while I do think the guitar sounds great plugged in, I still prefer micing it. Even with a cheap microphone, it sounds a hundred times more acoustic-y than I figure any transducer could ever do.

I haven't tried the other one but the 22R that I have is pretty great. Just going straight into a DI and it sounds all acoustic. I love it....I love Elixers too though.

I saw Jars live a couple years ago, and Matt's 12-string had a hole in the body where his pick hit, Willie Nelson style. It's very possible to put wear on the body.
