I have a string on my bass which is noticably lower tan the rest. It is the smallest string (i have no idea what its called because i play tabs and i cant remember which top sting or bottom string is either the string that is physically at the bottom or the lowest) anyway, i have tried a 2 mm alan key, which is too big. I think that it is either 1.5mm or 1mm, but i am not sure which. does anyone know which one is more likely, and where I can get it from her in the UK?

Any decent hardware shop should carry allen key sets. These will include several keys including the one for your saddles (just make sure the set goes all the way down to 1mm) and one for the truss rod.

That being said, there's no standard on saddle screw sizes.
